That's not irony. That's just coincidence. It would have been ironic if Koob had said he'd never associate the band with Led Zep and then they put the tape on.
Sorry, pet hate.

There was someone right at the front with what looked like a very expensive camera, a digital SLR I reckon. They kept holding it right up in front of various band members and snapping. I'd love to see their photos - anyone off here?
They seemed to only take some in the first few numbers though - perhaps it was the press?
Also, I wonder which gig Uncut and Mojo will have reviewed. My guess is it would probably be one of the southern ones.
EDIT - In fact you can see what looks like the back of him in ld50's first pic.

Having spent an hour or so nattering to Koob in Cardiff last year after the soundcheck at "The Point", but before the show, discussing lots of stuff, including "Your favourite Led Zep Album" , I thought it was an amusing co-incidence. Don't get me wrong, that was one of the most amazing shows I've ever been to, but if you missed that co-incidence at the end, please don't mock, maybe you didn't notice, or even know.

if memory serves, Koob got his Led Zep IV "ZOSO" tattoo in Portsmouth on July 4 2007, before THS played the Wedgewood Rooms for the first time
i remember standing on the seafront with JWD on what must have been the most miserably rainy day of last summer
