I'll be there. (Since I'm being "responsible" and not going to Cinco de Drinko, this is just about the best news I could have gotten!)

Seriously, no responsibility could keep me from Cinco De Drinko. It's a few hours, what responsibility can't wait?

Apparently AP tests can't wait.
Bah.

LOL AP tests. You don't need sleep for those. I would know, I took 12 in highschool. Plus unless you think you are on the brink from a 2 to a 3, there's no reason to go. She'll likely pass whatever it is. Her loss.

It comes into our father, who won't let her. Even though she's an adult. Also, she's an idiot.

I'm in.
See you there... even though a "Grammy Museum" sounds like an awful idea if you ask me.

lol seriously, even Music majors laugh at English majors. I get to laugh at most majors. It's a perk of being an engineering major.

There's waaaay more sex in music though (see also: Susan McClary). Calculus and physics just don't get me off like they used to.
There's no money in musicology, but there's a lot more fun to be had!

Through ZERO effort or interest on my own part... I ended up w/ a $100 gift certificate to ESPN SportsZone which also occupies the same silly LA Live complex where the show is.
I have no personal intention of ever going back to said spot after spending the gift cert.... so *anyone* who wants to help me blow $100 on drinks and bar snacks before the show is MORE than welcome.
If you can't stomach the idea of that, I don't blame you - and recommend The Yard House around the corner alternately.

I might be down for some of that ESPN gift certificate, Five! I've got a few friends who are joining me for the show, so shoot me a message if you want to meet up. I'll be at this show, the El Rey show, and the Solana Beach show in between! Woooooo!

Reporting in from the Grammy show: fantastic set, they really killed it. Thr music was fantastic and Nuestead(?) was great. Setlist is as follows:
sweet part of the city hurricane j multitude of casualties the weekenders you gotta dance (with who you came with) we can get together sequestered in Memphis chips ahoy barely breathing a slight discomfort
They were gonna add massive nights last, but crossed it out at the last second.

Reporting in from the Grammy show: fantastic set, they really killed it. Very much agreed. Nice to see an acoustic set. First time for me. Loved how the new ones sounded in that room. Fun interview and Q&A to start...and left with some signed vinyl! All in all a great first show of the week. See you all Wed! Jack

The show was fantastic! And Craig supports my not being at Cinco de Drinko for educational reasons! And contrary to Tad's belief, I am eighteen and not twelve.
