...and for those of you driving in from the East there is a Franz Nicolay show at Mac's bar in Lansing, MI the night before.
Mac's is special to me as it is the first place I saw THS and also because it's like 2 miles from my house.
Hope I can find a way to make it to Chicago.

Click!CITI cardholders, looks like you get first dibs! Tip for thrifty travelers: leave yr car elsewhere and take the El downtown, then walk a couple of blocks and head over the river to the venue -- valet parking is CRAZY expensive, and you'll get a beautiful view on foot. The blue line El will take you to Clark/Lake, the brown, green, orange, pink, or purple lines will take you to State/Lake, and the red line will take you to Lake (yep, just Lake). All within a block or so of each other. It's also about a half-mile from the Randolph St. Metra, and smack dab next to Marina City (eagle-eyed indie rockers will recognize this as "those buildings on the cover of YHF"). Eat and drink before you come. House of Blues is fucking expensive.

If anyone buys an extra ticket, pleeeeeeez keep me in mind before you sell it. I'm trying to set up my schedule to make it work but it's very unlikely.

It is also co-sponsored by Bud Light, which indicates to me that there will be free beer on hand. Which should also help dull the agony.
Also? Sweet baby badger-in-a-suit made me laugh out loud.
