Behold a white arm: The only (minor) issue I have with it is the spot on the sail, but i'll go back in another few weeks and get that touched up. Also: camera flashes make my beard look so scraggly. My hero.

That's wicked sweet. I was thinking of the Stay Positive logo, but I don't know if I will or won't, for the same reasons as previously mentioned. I know this has probably been mentioned before, maybe on the old board, but has the squid got anything do do with the lyric 'it came on hot and soft and then it tightened up its tentacles'? I know it's not off the same album, but just a thought.. Probably wayyyy wrong though?

My Stay Posi logo is all healed up and I'm loving it. Can't wait to show it off in sandals this summer. And, if for some reason I don't like the band in 10 years I will still appreciate the "stay positive" mentality. That's what I'm going with.

I still have every intention of getting this tattooed directly over my heart as soon as I can afford it.

I'm sure that in ten years time that I will still love THS, like I still love AC/DC which I discovered when I was 15. I need more ink too.......

I have to say that I love my Stay Positive symbol tattoo. I agree with the posters above that say that it is a constant reminder... because it is... I see it sometimes when I am down, and have to smile, because it makes me feel better. It is also always bringing up conversation... a lot of people automatically assume that it is 'infinity' or an '8' but when I explain what it is.. they are all totally into it.

I get the "8" all the time - which I never would have considered until the first person asked me why I had an 8 on my ankle. I had one person ask me if it was a racetrack - I thought that was imaginitive.

For those of you that got the stay positive logo, how long did it take? I'm thinking of getting it done on my forearm/wrist area. Never gotten a tattoo before but I'm down with the stay positive attitude of life and am really thinking of making it my first tattoo. Thanks.

Based on my tattoos, I'd say that if you got one about 3.5-4" long, it would take two hours max.

I was just wondering, and this seems like a good place to ask, for just the simple stay positive (infinity) logo, how long would that take to get tatooed on the arm?

Thanks for the answers. 1-2 hours seems to be the going rate. That's not too shabby.

Would any of you fine people who just got the symbol tattoo be willing to post pics?

I was at the NJ show Friday and this conversation came up among the people I was with - whether or not to get a stay positive logo tattoo. Three of the four of us said we'd do it. My wife was the exception. I don't have any tattoos, but I'd probably just get it on my upper arm if I ever end up getting one.

Thanks guys and gals. I'm definitely leaning towards getting it done. Going to do it while in Vancouver instead of here in Thunder Bay. I'm thinking wrist/forearm area.
